30°C

Celsius °C is commonly used in Taiwan. Fahrenheit °F and kelvin K are different scales and cannot all be converted with the same multiplier.

Fahrenheit and Celsius differ by a 32-degree offset; a fixed multiplier alone is insufficient.

Method and scope

Celsius equals (Fahrenheit minus 32) times 5/9. Kelvin equals Celsius plus 273.15, so scale conversions include an offset rather than just multiplication.

The answer is the same physical temperature on the selected scale. Celsius is commonly used in Taiwan.

Values below absolute zero are rejected. This tool converts temperature readings and does not determine safe cooking, storage or body temperatures.

What this helps you do

Convert a temperature between Celsius, Fahrenheit and kelvin. Select the original scale before entering the reading.

What to enter

Start with temperature value, then fill the other relevant fields in the units shown. The field hints explain the required format and examples.

How the calculation works

Celsius equals (Fahrenheit minus 32) times 5/9. Kelvin equals Celsius plus 273.15, so scale conversions include an offset rather than just multiplication.

Worked example

A temperature of 25 degrees Celsius equals 77 degrees Fahrenheit and 298.15 kelvin. A temperature difference follows a different offset convention from a temperature reading.

Understanding the answer

The answer is the same physical temperature on the selected scale. Celsius is commonly used in Taiwan.

Scope and limitations

Values below absolute zero are rejected. This tool converts temperature readings and does not determine safe cooking, storage or body temperatures.
