Privacy
All calculation inputs are processed within your browser. There are no login accounts, third-party calculation APIs, advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The website does not receive your amounts, recipes, names or saved plans.
Anonymous usage statistics
To understand which tools are useful, this site sends tool identifiers, source categories (such as Google search, social media or unknown), and counts of opens, completed custom calculations, saves and copies to its own DataGold backend, aggregated by Taipei date. Inputs, results, search terms, plan names, original referring URLs and visitor identifiers are not uploaded.
The browser temporarily stores the source category and actions already counted, resetting them after about 30 minutes of inactivity. There is no tracking across websites or devices, and offline events are not sent later. DNT and GPC do-not-track preferences are respected. The server uses a temporary hash for rate limiting and does not store it in statistics. The hosting provider may still retain ordinary connection logs.
This affects statistics only, not calculations or saving. Set it again after clearing browser data.
Temporary language-switch draft
Switching languages temporarily stores this tab’s unsaved input and plan-name edits in session storage for up to 30 minutes. The destination page reads and removes it once. It is not uploaded or a named saved plan, and is not guaranteed to survive closing the tab. Use Save a separate plan to keep your work.
Data kept on this device
Adding a favorite stores the tool ID. Recent tools keep only the last 6 tool IDs. Inputs for a named plan are kept only when you choose to save. Data is stored in this browser and may not survive private browsing, clearing site data, uninstalling or changing devices.
In My tools, you can export or import backups, rename, duplicate or move plans to the recycle bin. It holds up to 20 plans; the oldest is removed when that limit is exceeded. Backups include saved inputs and are not encrypted, so keep them secure yourself. This site does not provide automatic synchronization across devices.
Copying results only writes to your clipboard; it does not publish or send them automatically. Search runs locally and does not add search terms to new URLs; existing URLs with search queries still work. The hosting provider may process ordinary connection and access logs. External reference links follow their own websites' policies.
Offline data
After offline preparation finishes during an initial connected visit, tool pages, formulas and necessary images are cached for offline use. The site prompts you to reload when an update is available. Caching does not upload your plans.
Calculation data and usage events stay separate
Amounts, height, weight, ingredients, participant names and calculation results are not included in anonymous events. Events describe only the tool, action category and coarse source classification; they do not send plan names or search terms. Completing a custom calculation, saving and copying also do not attach the answer. This separation does not mean browsing makes no network requests: loading pages, obtaining updates and sending permitted anonymous events still use ordinary connections, whose logs may be processed by the hosting provider.
Sources and duplicate event counts
The browser classifies sources broadly, such as search, social, paid or other. Events do not include full referring URLs or original advertising parameters. Temporary session data records sources and already-counted tool actions, resetting after about 30 minutes of inactivity to prevent repeated clicks on one function from continually increasing counts. This is not a named account or a cross-device personal history. Offline events are not sent, and events without confirmed delivery are not repeatedly retried. Statistics therefore show usage signals rather than complete visitor or action counts.
How the opt-out works
The option to disable anonymous usage statistics is stored in the current browser. Enabled Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control settings also take priority in restricting sending. Opting out does not affect field calculations, copying or local saving, and removes no tool features. Clearing site data may clear the site's preference, so check it again. Other browsers and devices do not inherit it automatically. The setting affects future sending; it does not identify and remove previously aggregated data, because statistics hold no visitor account to match it to.
Local data still needs your care
Named plans stay in the browser only after you save. Favorites and recent tools are separate local data. Moving a plan to the recycle bin allows restoration; it does not immediately erase every copy permanently. Exceeding the recycle-bin limit removes the oldest item. Deleting a plan on this site does not delete backup files downloaded earlier. Other users of a shared device may access the same browser data. Manage important inputs yourself; keeping them off the server does not make them invisible in every shared-device situation.
Exports, imports and the clipboard
Exported files contain saved inputs and recycled content without encryption. Store them somewhere you can protect and do not publish backups through shared links. Import reads the file you select in your browser and merges it locally; it does not create a cloud synchronization account. Copying a result writes to the clipboard. Pasting it into other software is a sharing action you choose; the site does not send it to payees, customers or social media. Before sharing a plan containing participant names, dates or body measurements, check for details you do not want public.
Caches and external links
Offline caches keep tool pages, formulas and necessary assets to open prepared content without a connection. They do not add personal plans to public pages. Site updates and clearing browser caches may change offline availability; this is separate from local named-plan storage. Links to Taiwan's Health Promotion Administration, Taipower and other reference sites follow those sites' policies and features after you leave. This site does not control their logs or services. Switching from an in-app browser to another browser may also separate your data; back up necessary plans before switching.
