A: unit price15.44 TWD/100 g
A: amount paid now139 TWD
A: later rewards (excluded from unit price)0 TWD
B: unit price14.24 TWD/100 g
B: amount paid now299 TWD
B: later rewards (excluded from unit price)0 TWD

Enter the promotional total price for all packages together, subtract cash discounts usable now, then add shipping for the entire set. Rewards appear separately and do not reduce payment now. Quality, shelf life and waste are excluded.

Method and scope

For a price per 100 g or 100 mL, use (set price - immediate discount + shipping) / (quantity per pack * pack count * unit factor) * 100, with the unit factor converting quantity to grams or millilitres. All three quantity factors belong in the denominator; for a price per piece, omit the final * 100.

Later rewards are listed separately because they are not yet cash discounts. The lowest unit price only compares products with compatible dimensions.

Confirm promotional minimum spending yourself and include free packs without subtracting them again. Quality, expiry dates and the usefulness of extra quantity still matter.

How the calculation works

For a price per 100 g or 100 mL, use (set price - immediate discount + shipping) / (quantity per pack * pack count * unit factor) * 100, with the unit factor converting quantity to grams or millilitres. All three quantity factors belong in the denominator; for a price per piece, omit the final * 100.

Worked example

A buy-two-get-one-free set containing three 500 g packs for TWD 180 costs TWD 12 per 100 g before other costs. Enter pack count 3 and set price 180.

Understanding the answer

Later rewards are listed separately because they are not yet cash discounts. The lowest unit price only compares products with compatible dimensions.

Scope and limitations

Confirm promotional minimum spending yourself and include free packs without subtracting them again. Quality, expiry dates and the usefulness of extra quantity still matter.
