Example result

Discounted price

2,400TWD

Entering 8 means paying 80% of the original price. Merchandise discounts exclude extra shipping.

Amount saved600 TWD

For a price that is 80% of the original, enter 8. This does not mean taking 80% off.

Method and scope

Sale price equals original price times the multiplier divided by 10. Reverse mode divides actual item payment by original price, then multiplies by 10.

A reverse multiplier above 10 means the payment exceeded the original price. It is not described as a saving.

Only one discount is applied. Coupons, cashback, shipping and successive discounts belong in the coupons and cashback tool; reverse mode requires an original price above zero.
