The result is the same Gregorian calendar date in the other year notation, not a lunar conversion or age.
ROC year 1 is Gregorian 1912. Add 1911 to an ROC year or subtract 1911 from a Gregorian year. The month and day remain unchanged; this is not a lunar conversion. For a year alone leave month and day both blank; otherwise enter a valid date including leap-year rules. Only ROC year 1 to Gregorian 9999 is supported; pre-ROC years, ages, zodiac signs and lunar dates are not included.
ROC year 1 is Gregorian 1912; add 1911 to an ROC year or subtract 1911 from a Gregorian year. Month and day stay the same.
Only ROC year 1 onward through Gregorian 9999 is supported. This does not convert lunar dates, pre-ROC years, ages or zodiac signs.

Convert a Taiwan ROC calendar year or complete date to Gregorian notation and back.
Choose the input calendar and enter the year. Leave month and day blank together for a year-only conversion.
ROC year 1 is 1912; add or subtract 1911 while keeping the same month and day.
ROC 113 February 29 is Gregorian 2024 February 29; both names describe the same valid leap day.
The year is shown in the other notation; if supplied, month and day appear separately.
Pre-ROC years and lunar calendar conversions are not supported. The tool rejects nonexistent dates rather than silently rolling them forward.
