This is a pre-tax daily simple-interest estimate. Check the bank agreement and settlement.
Interest = principal × annual rate ÷ 100 × actual days ÷ 365. The start date is included and the end date excluded; the denominator remains 365 in leap years. This pre-tax simple-interest estimate excludes live rates, compounding, early-withdrawal rules, taxes, fees and bank rounding. Banks may use different month, partial-day, date and rounding rules; check your agreement and actual settlement.
The estimate uses actual days divided by 365 and a fixed annual simple interest rate.
It excludes tax, compounding, early withdrawal rules and bank rounding. Confirm the bank contract.

Estimate pre-tax simple interest for one deposit over a chosen date range using a fixed annual rate that you supply.
Enter your principal and fixed annual interest rate, then choose both the starting date and the ending date.
Count actual days with the start included and end excluded; multiply principal by the annual rate and days divided by 365.
For example, a principal of 100,000 at a fixed annual rate of 1.8% over 90 days gives about 443.84 in pre-tax interest.
Read the estimated pre-tax interest separately from the principal and interest total, and compare both to your bank records.
Rates, dates, rounding, withholding and early withdrawal differ by bank; confirm every rule in your own agreement.
